Hearing or Life?
My mom called me tonight and told me about a little segment she saw on Good Morning America today. After hearing her tell me the story of this young woman, I wanted to see the story myself. It's a touching story that reminds you not to take some of our everyday conveniences for granted. It made me tear up and pull out my ipod when I was done watching. Please watch this. It's not long and I hope it reminds you to count your blessings today!

I actually saw this on GMA this morning. I loved the idea of the video she is making so she can hear things in her memory.
ReplyDeleteI cried when I saw it on GMA and cried when I told the girls at work about it! I can't imagine not being able to hear music anymore. She's a brave girl.

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing story, thanks so much for sharing this, otherwise I probably never would've heard about it. She is one AMAZING woman. I think I would make the same decision but still I can't even imagine not being able to hear!! It's not only music but also our favorite things....our kids that we wouldn't be able to hear anymore! Yes, I think we take some things for granted. I am so thankful that I am healthy and able to enjoy everything that she can't anymore.
