honeymoon day 1

Our honeymoon began with an early morning flight out of Virginia to Oregon. It was nice traveling west because we gained three hours thanks to the time difference. We got there at 12pm, so we still had a large chunk of the day to take in. We accidentally drove into Washington, but that was okay with us since neither one of us had ever been there. We decided to make an adventure out of it and eat lunch there.

After lunch, we got on the road to head to our B&B . We made a lot of stops along the way, at scenic pull offs and to the Tillamook Forest Center, which, by the way, I highly recommend! Awesome displays here and a pretty view!
We finally made it to our B&B. It was so adorable. So much attention to detail. Hence the heart shaped brownie and sweet note:
We found a local brewery for dinner, where we both had a locally caught fish. Delicious! And the microbrews weren't bad! One of our favorite parts about visiting Oregon was all the local beer.

It was a wonderful first day that ended with a gorgeous Pacific sunset! Something we don't get over here in Virginia!
