Confession

I am not a serious Vera Bradley girl. Over the years, I've received some items as gifts, but I could never justify spending so much on one of her bags. The prints are beautiful, but let's be honest...I am a cheap handbag kind of girl. I have no problem buying all my purses at Target.

Last weekend, the church across the street from our building was having a yard sale. I went over to see if I could find some things for my class (which I did...lots of books and Yahtzee for a whopping 25 cents!), but I also found this...for $5!


This is a deal to me! And I love how summery it is! Any other yard sale fans out there?

  1. I CANNOT believe you found that bag for $5. I'm a serious Vera fan and I hate the fact that I spend so much $ on it..I just cannot help myself! You got an excellent find, girl! And I looveeee a good yard sale ;)

  3. You are the second blogger I read today who found cheap Vera at a garage sale! And I LOVE that print. I so rarely spend money on Vera, but I do love her. I guess I'm going to need to find some yard sales. Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. I love Vera bags and that one is so cute- especially for $5. Our neighborhood just had a big neighborhood yard sale this weekend, but no Vera bags. :(

  6. what a cute pattern! i secretly love vera (i'm southern bred, what can i say)... they oftentimes have her on sale at murphies in carytown for 20 or 30% off, which makes it somewhat reasonable, right? ( :

  12. Very cool! My boyf lives in Portsmouth..he's a medical student at the Navy Hospital. I go and visit him every few weeks, sometimes a little longer :(

  13. I love garage sales in theory but the reality is I rarely find anything worth waking up at the crack of dawn on my weekends. But they're super fun once in a while and that is an AWESOME deal you got!
