Back in the 90's (and let's be honest, today too), this was one of my favorite movies. I have so many memories watching it at sleepovers and with my sister. When I saw a friend mention it on facebook today, I found a sudden urge to go rent it. It's been years, but I bet I could recite half the lines.
Anyone else grow up loving this movie? Or any other movie you want to share about that you loved in your grade school days? Please share so we can reminisce together!
I LOVE that movie! Not too long ago, I found myself wanting to watch it too. I added it to my netflix queue and watched it one very happy Friday night and it put me in such a good mood! I know I blogged about it too!

ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE that movie!!!! Last night I watched Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang! I Loved it as a child and was surprised by how many of the words from the songs I remembered :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that for years! Shelley Long was definitely part of my young teens - Troop Beverley Hills and The Money Pit featured regularly... Along with Bikini Shop, 3 Men and a Baby... Probably second only to Grease!

ReplyDeleteI have never seen that movie! Love catching up on your blog!!! This weekend I actually cleaned my house, cleaned all my wood furniture with Old English, and actually digital scrapbooked! School has been chaotic and I was thrilled to relax this weekend!
ReplyDeleteOMG!! I loved this movie! I knew all of the words! It was one of the only movies I watched over and over. Well, until Clueless came out!! That was one of my favorite movies too from back in the day!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that's one of my FAVORITES! "We're the girls from Beverly Hills! Shopping is our greatest skill." Haha, I always wanted to be in a girl scout troop like that. Much more up my alley :) I still catch it sometimes on TBS or ABC Family and always have to stop and watch it. It never gets old!

ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this movie before . . but then again we didn't have cable as a kid- so I missed out on a lot of normal kid stuff. (but I am ok with that. = ) )
